Our Binti World workshop is based in Nanyuki Kenya, at the foot of Mt Kenya. We manufacture the highest quality products using traditional fabrics i.e. Kitenge, Kanga and kikoi.
10% of our profits go to our sister Community Based Organisation (CBO) Binti Mwangaza (bintimwangaza.com) where we manufacture and distribute reusable sanitary kits, free of charge, to needy girls in schools. In doing this we ensure that they remain in school full time.

Binti World is a social enterprise. Social enterprises are businesses that are changing the world for the better. Like traditional businesses they aim to make a profit but it's what they do with their profits that sets them apart – reinvesting or donating them to create positive social change. It's business for good and when they profit, society profits.
That's why at Binti World a percentage of the profit goes back to the manufacture of reusable sanitary towels for our Community Based Organization Binti Mwangaza (www.bintimwangaza.com)

NB: Today, I got a call from someone saying we are not manufacturing enough pads. We can only manufacture as much as our profits dictates or if we are lucky enough to get donors.
